Speak! [video]

From the hands of the world’s 34th greatest rapper here is a little taste of what can be expected from his much-anticipated mixtape, which I heard is coming very shortly!

s/o to @BrassPix for shooting and editing the video, maybe its just me but good cinematography can make or break a video.

Jay Rock | Boomerang

On this gloomy day this one goes out to all my folks out there on that TDE tip! Jay Rock is just on fire these days along with the entire TDE squad.

Peep the song and also be sure to snag up your tickets to the School Boy Q show going down March 11th at the Key Club, if you know what happened the last time TDE invaded the place then you’ll already know what to expect! For those of you who don’t know, I’ll leave it at this. . .if you had Dre in the place then it was a damn good night!

Havoc of Mobb Deep | Back On My Bullshit

Dope; it’s all that comes to mind with this track. Not to mention Prodigy is set to be released from prison in 5 days! From the likes and lyrics of this one it looks like we can expect new work from Mobb Deep!

Artist Highlight | D-Sisive // Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye

Before you read anything, hit play on the audio and just vibe to it while you read.

Now Playing: If-D-Sisive from Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye

To all those that enjoy the likes of Cyne, Cunninlynguists, and even Looptroop I bring you some new blood. And you thought all Canada had to offer was Drake, Bieber, and Maple Syrup! Don’t let his home fool you Derek Christoff, better known as D-Sisive is one of my absolute favorites! This guy hits you on so many different levels. Not only is he hip-hop but his influences from around the world are well noted, his intelligence is laced in all of his lyrics and most importantly he comes with a song of everyday life and truth. That in itself is what takes music from the ears to the heart, and like they say once music penetrates the soul it lives there forever. Now don’t think D-Sisive is new to the scene, he has been around since the early 90′s but LIFE happened and he pulled away. Thank god he came back, he is more than a fresh of breath air more like a slap back into reality. His music offers so much insight, many light laughs, and the ability to give you time to reflect. Many props to him and to the entire team behind him. I wish him much success, and as you read this I hope you take the time to enjoy the fruits of his labors. download: Jonestown 2: Jimmy Go Bye Bye-D-Sisive
